This iconic wooden tram is painted with authentic colours and based on the iconic W-class Melbourne tram. This wonderful creation comes complete with 12 wooden passengers and 2 uniformed tram conductors that have their own cabins on each end of the tram. It has wheels on the bottom (for pushing and zoom zooming) and the lid comes off the top for little hands to access the wooden passengers.

    I was lucky enough to win one of these from Monkey Caboose after longing for one over the last 12 months. It's fantastic. The tram is durable enough to withstand my enthusiastic toddler and intricate enough to intrigue my pre-schooler without being a danger to either. The wheels move, the people can be seated in their peg-holes or just thrown inside (depending if you are said toddler or preschooler) and the lid comes on and off easily.

    We are already fans of both Australian toys and wooden toys, and this ticks all the boxes. Great gift for a girl, or boy, a visitor or a local and I can't wait to get the Sydney Ferry to balance it out!

    This Tram is a big hit with my son. It's sturdy, has great colours and he loves that it has 12 passengers and conductors inside to play with. It has become a favourite toy in his collection.
